Wash & Fold Laundry on the Upper East Side, NYC

The Upper East Side is defined by Central Park to the west, Lenox Hill Hospital to the north, the Met and the Cooper Hewitt up Fifth Avenue, and the long limestone-and-brick wall of doorman coops that runs from East 60th up into Yorkville. The neighborhood is famously dense with buildings that don't have on-floor laundry — the older Park and Fifth Avenue coops were built decades before in-unit washers were standard — and that's the gap our pickup and delivery service was built to fill. Our East 63rd Street storefront closed October 9, 2026, but the Upper East Side is still on our daily routes from the Murray Hill flagship.

Most UES customers fall into one of two patterns. The first is families in classic prewar coops who simply don't want to drag bags down to a basement room or a streetside laundromat — we pick up from the doorman, deliver back to the doorman, and the laundry never has to leave the building's normal flow. The second is busy professionals — many at Memorial Sloan Kettering, Hospital for Special Surgery, or the law and finance firms a quick 6 train ride down Lex — who use our app to schedule pickups during the small windows between shifts. Both groups want the same thing: their stuff back, exactly the way they sent it, on time.

We cover the full Upper East Side from East 59th up to East 96th, river to Fifth Avenue, with daily van routes. Our Murray Hill flagship accepts walk-in drop-off (cheaper per pound) and dry-cleaning intake — suits, formalwear, structured coats, and the kind of fine knitwear the neighborhood actually owns. Garments are tagged, individually inspected, and returned in 3–4 business days. We handle the fine print most of the time: button repair, light spot treatment, and refusal to clean items that probably shouldn't be cleaned (we'll tell you).

The Q train extension along Second Avenue and the F/Q stop at Lex/63rd have made the eastern blocks denser and busier than they used to be, and our pickup density has grown right along with them. If you're in one of the new high-rises along Second Avenue — many of which still don't have building laundry — we're often picking up from your floor neighbors already.

Our Upper East Side coverage includes all of Lenox Hill, including the blocks around Lenox Hill Hospital. We pick up daily from the residential blocks around the hospital — East 60s through East 70s between Lex and York — and many Lenox Hill Hospital staff and patient families use us during longer stays.
