Wash & Fold Laundry in Kips Bay, NYC

Kips Bay runs from East 23rd up to East 34th, river to Lex, and it's defined more than anything by the medical campuses on its eastern edge — NYU Langone, Bellevue Hospital, and the VA Medical Center sit shoulder to shoulder along First Avenue, and a huge share of the neighborhood's residents either work at one of them or are doing a residency, fellowship, or grad program nearby. The rest of Kips Bay is a mix of the I.M. Pei–designed Kips Bay Plaza towers, postwar rental high-rises, FDR-facing buildings catching the East River breeze, and NYU graduate housing scattered through the East 20s and 30s.

The customer profile here is unusual in Manhattan: heavily medical, heavily on call, heavily working hours that don't line up with anyone's normal laundry routine.
