The Lower East Side has changed more in the last ten years than almost any other Manhattan neighborhood, and the laundry math has changed right along with it. Walk down Orchard or Ludlow and you'll still see the original four- and five-story tenement walk-ups that the Tenement Museum was built to remember — most without in-unit laundry, many without elevators. Walk one block to Delancey and you're in front of Essex Crossing's brand-new luxury towers. Walk south to Grand Street and you're at the prewar Mitchell-Lama coops that have anchored the southern LES for half a century. Crisp picks up from every one of these building types, on the same routes, six days a week.

The customer base reflects the architectural mix. We have young professionals and creatives in the new Essex Crossing high-rises who could use their building's on-site laundry but would rather get the time back. We have artists and freelancers in tenement walk-ups east of Allen who don't have any reasonable option besides a laundromat or us — and the laundromats here, while plentiful, mean carrying weeks of clothes down five flights and back up. And we have longtime Grand Street residents in doorman buildings who appreciate that we hand bags to the front desk and pick them back up the same way.

Our delivery zone covers the full LES — from Houston down to Canal, from the Bowery to the FDR — with the highest pickup density between Allen and Essex. Drivers route the F/M/J/Z stop at Delancey-Essex as a natural anchor and work outward. Most pickups in the neighborhood happen between 8am and 11am; drops are typically late afternoon to early evening, which works well with the LES's late-rising restaurant and gallery rhythm.

The neighborhood eats and drinks late, and a surprising amount of our weekend volume here is restaurant uniforms — chef coats, aprons, kitchen towels — from the kitchens that make the LES the LES. We handle that as a recurring schedule, billed monthly, with same-week turnaround so nothing piles up.

For everything else: schedule a first pickup in the app and pick a 2-hour pickup block. You'll get a text when the driver is en route — including how many stops are ahead of you — and another when they're one stop away. Leave the bag with your doorman or super if you have one; if not, the driver will knock at your door. Wash & fold is typically returned within 24–48 hours.
